Section licenses are priced to fit under a typical department purchasing-card (p-card) limit, paid from instructor or department discretionary budget. Department Unlimited is bought by purchase order and invoice. Your school may still run its usual software security and privacy review. If your department has no budget at all, the student-pay route sidesteps procurement entirely. No money changes hands before Fall 2027 — early tiers are $0.
